Belle Moran-Turner - Southside Physiotherapy, Tuggeranong

Belle completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy at the University of Canberra, taking a keen interest in sports and musculoskeletal physiotherapy. During her time as a student, she gained experience working with sporting teams such as the U19's Brumbies, local rugby union teams and Canberra United Soccer. She was also working in private practice within the Canberra region before joining the Southside team in early 2021.

Through her experience, she has gained an appreciation for the holistic approach that can be provided through physiotherapy. She believes in goal orientated injury and pain management, through education, exercise prescription and manual therapies to assist her clients on the road to recovery. Belle's special interests in physiotherapy revolve around sporting injuries, pre and post-operative rehabilitation, taping, manual therapies, dry needling, exercise/classes and neurological conditions. More specifically injuries involving the neck, lower back, shoulder, knee and ankle joints.

Belle also runs exercise classes in the gym at Southside. The classes that she runs are +Back – an exercise class focussing on back mobility, core strength and back strength. As well as +Neuro – an individualised exercise class for people with neurological conditions such as; Parkinson's Disease, Stroke and Multiple Sclerosis.

Outside of working at Southside, Belle continues to play rugby union and challenges her voice box whilst attending Brumbies games. She also practices tennis occasionally, in the hopes of one day beating her father but no luck yet.
