James is passionate about empowering his patients to be in charge of their recovery. He values the process of understanding each person’s individual goals, whether they are connected to work, sport, hobbies, or the parts of daily life that bring them joy. He loves educating patients on the nature of the issues they face and enabling them to return with confidence and further engage in living active lifestyles and enjoying the sports and hobbies they love. James prides himself on his ability to provide evidence-based care that maintains, improves/restores his patient’s wellbeing, physical function and cognitive abilities.

 James has an interest in treating a variety of musculoskeletal and neurological conditions including sporting injuries, back pain, post-surgical (repairs, replacement in the shoulder hip, elbow, knee and ankle), arthritis, brain injuries, Multiple Sclerosis and Stroke. He has enjoyed working closely with patients aged from 6 months to 98 years of age in his career so far. James has completed additional training in dry needling and uses a combination of manual therapy and exercise therapy to help people achieve their goals.

On a personal level, James enjoys spending time with his wife and two boys, soccer, weightlifting and playing guitar.
