Bjarne Kragh

Physiotherapy, Denmark

Bjarne does not offer online bookings and often has an extended wait list between 2-3 months.

Bjarne is the Principal physiotherapist at Southside Physiotherapy. He was born and studied physiotherapy in Denmark, and came to Australia in 1994. He worked in the Canberra Hospital until taking over as Director of Southside Physiotherapy in Tuggeranong in February 1998. The clinic has steadily grown since then with Bjarne expanding into Woden and Mobile Physio.

Bjarne’s areas of professional interest include temporomandibular (jaw) pain, headache, face pain, spinal and pelvic dysfunction, treatment of OA (osteoarthritis), RA (rheumatoid arthritis), other autoimmune diseases like ankylosis spondylitis and psoriatic arthritis, as well as chronic pain management.

Bjarne loves to learn and has travelled far and wide to improve his skills. In recent years he has visited Canada, the UK and Europe to attend courses and conferences. He also has a passion for teaching and guiding younger physio’s, and takes part in a teaching program with Physiotherapy students at Canberra University.

In his spare time, Bjarne has changed his fitness routine from running after a round ball (football), to thoroughly enjoying raising money for charity in long distance bike riding events.
