Lauren Heydenrych

Lauren completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy at the University of the Witwatersrand in South Africa. She has also completed her basic Neurodevelopmental Technique (NDT) course, advanced NDT course in the early intervention and treatment of infants, and a foundation course in yoga therapy for children.

Having worked in a variety of settings, ranging from a community clinic to schools and right into the clinic and home environments, she has always enjoyed experiencing the success of her clients and seeing their goals being realized. Lauren’s special interest lies in the pediatric population, beginning with infants and extending all the way to young adults. An all-round passion in the neuro-rehabilitative field means that Lauren is always looking for ways to make therapy engaging and meaningful to the individual, whether 9 months old or 90 years old.

When not with patients, Lauren enjoys exploring the expanding world of research in physiotherapy. She also loves time with her family – indoors and out. Occasionally she will lose herself in a good book, yoga flow, or outside on the road with her running shoes.
