Martin completed his Physiotherapy Degree at Sydney University in 1982 and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Sports Physiotherapy at Curtin University in 1986.
He has completed courses in manipulation, generic orthotics, running injuries, treatment of TMJ dysfunction, the Sarah Key method, the Mulligan method, and dry needling.
Martin is interested in running injuries, and the management of headaches, arthritis, and injuries to the rotator cuff, shins, plantar fascia, and Achilles tendon.
Martin has been married for 37 years and has three adult sons and 2 granddaughters. He is interested in travel and other cultures, and he lived and worked in Indonesia for 5 years. Martin likes trail running, bike packing, and spear-fishing.
