Michael Irvine

Bachelor of Exercise Science and Sports Coaching, University of Canberra;
Master of Physiotherapy, University of Canberra

Michael was born and raised in Canberra, completing all of his studies locally and growing up playing many sports. He still continues to play rugby union and softball when he isn’t strapping and providing physiotherapy services for local teams. Michael was introduced to physiotherapy through sport and found it was a great way to combine his love of problem solving, helping people back to their feet, and sports.

Throughout Michael’s studies and career, he has developed skills and interests in Men’s health, sports injuries, orthopaedic surgery, work injuries and neurological conditions. His other interests extend to hydrotherapy, dry needling, biomechanics and exercise physiology.

Michael believes in utilizing a combination of: education about your condition, hands on therapy, and adjunct exercises to help you achieve your goals. Whether your goals are returning to work or sport, helping you to be independent at home, improve your performance, or just to help with that lingering pain, Michael is happy to help you through it.
