Lisa is a born and bred Canberran who completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy at the University of Canberra. Prior to working in private practice, Lisa has more than 3 years’ experience working in the public hospital system. Her assessment and treatment for a wide range of conditions were fine-tuned while working in the acute, fast-paced hospital environment. Lisa has worked in the emergency department, with musculoskeletal outpatients, in various neurological wards, in the intensive care unit and on women’s health with both pre- and post-natal patients. Lisa has a keen clinical interest in treating pregnancy related musculoskeletal pelvis and lower back pain, helping new mothers return to exercise safely after birth, and has completed further training in assessing and treating pelvic floor issues. Lisa has a hands-on approach to treatment during consultations, as well as a strong focus on exercise prescription to enable ongoing self-management for her patients. Outside of work, Lisa enjoys cooking, playing netball and relaxing down at the south coast.
