+ Dynamic Core (Woden)
Cost: semi private – max 6 per class
Woden offers semi private exercise classes. These classes have a maximum of 6 participants per class to allow for individual monitoring and progression of your program. Prior to starting these classes, you will need to book in for an assessment with Lisa Kaye, this allows a program to be developed specific to your needs. + Pilates is suited to all levels of strength and life stage. These sessions are conducted by a physiotherapist to enable safe and effective exercise practice while monitoring and adjusting for different levels of injury and ability within the class. Some of the exercises in your program centred around clinical Pilates and strength and conditioning. We do use equipment including the Pilates reformer, exercise balls and resistance bands, free weights and bodyweight exercises. Current timetable: Tuesdays and Thursdays 6-7pm As these classes are run by a physiotherapist, you may be able to receive a rebate from your private health insurer.
+ Mat Work (Woden)
Max 6 per class
Woden offers semi private Mat Work pilates style class with Lizzy Smiles. It is a tailored approach of physiotherapy exercise with some elements of pilates rehab. Perfect for core strength, office workers, new mothers, and anyone who is looking to level up their strength and fitness. Classes are 60 mins from 12:30-1:30pm on Mondays (in line with the school term). Lizzy would like a 30 min assessment consultation to run through a pre-assessment screening and to teach you the first iteration of your exercises.
+ Pilates (tuggeranong)
Our Tuggeranong clinic also offers + Pilates- using clinical pilates based rehabilitation exercises. These classes run for 9 weeks during the school terms. Classes are 50 minutes in duration and you are able to join these classes at any point through the term. If you pay for consecutive classes, a discount is available. Prior to commencing the group classes, you do need to book in for a 20 minute one on one assessment, to allow Siobhain, the physiotherapist running the classes to be aware of any injuries or issues that you may have. The maximum class size is 14 people and is situated in a large pilates room. Class times Tuesdays 12.30pm – 1.20pm Tuesdays 6pm – 6.50 pm Tuesdays 7pm – 7.50 pm Siobhain also offers one on one private pilates. No assessment is required for this, and sessions are 40 minutes duration. You also may be able to receive a rebate from your private health provider for these classes.
