Jemma was born in Tasmania and has lived in Canberra since 1992. She worked as a laboratory scientist for over a decade before returning to University to follow her passion to help people lead pain free and movement rich lives. She has recently graduated from the University of Canberra with a Masters in Physiotherapy.
Jemma believes in movement as medicine, and that pain free movement is integral to quality of life for everyone from office workers to athletes. She has a particular interest in treating pregnant and post-natal women with musculoskeletal complaints or mastitis.
Jemma likes to keep active by taking longs walks with her dogs, doing yoga in her living room, and playing tennis with friends. One of her proudest achievements is completing the Canberra 100 - 25km walk while carrying her 4 month old baby. On the weekends she enjoys gardening and bike riding with her husband and two daughters.
