JiWoong Park

Bachelor of Physiotherapy, University of Canberra, 2025

Park graduated from the University of Canberra in 2025 with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy. Originally from Korea, he moved to Australia to pursue a career in physiotherapy after developing a strong interest in rehabilitation through his own sports-related injuries. These experiences shaped his understanding of both the physical and emotional challenges that injury can have on daily life.

He has a keen interest in general musculoskeletal physiotherapy and enjoys working with people across a wide range of activity levels. His clinical interests include managing neck and lower back pain, as well as shoulder, knee, and ankle injuries. He also has a strong interest in sports rehabilitation, particularly soccer, and takes a holistic, patient-centred approach to care. He combines manual therapy, exercise-based rehabilitation, and education to help clients restore function, confidence, and independence in everyday life and sport.

Park has worked as a sports trainer for an NPL junior soccer team for two years. Having played soccer at a high level in Korea, he understands how emotionally challenging it can be to be unable to participate in activities you enjoy and is passionate about supporting a safe and meaningful return to activity.

Outside of work, he enjoys gym training, soccer, and spending time with his friends and his beautiful girlfriend.
