Anthea completed a Bachelor of Physiotherapy at the University of Canberra. Whilst growing up, she participated in several different sports, including track and field and soccer. Anthea was often riddled with injury and this sparked her passion for physiotherapy and rehabilitation. In particular, she has a keen interest in sports injury prevention and management. She has worked with various local sporting codes including soccer, AFL and cricket.
Anthea’s other clinical interests include the management of knee injuries, post-operative rehabilitation of various kinds, and hydrotherapy. She believes combining manual therapy, functional exercises and education are the key to empowering you to reach your goals. .
Outside her work life, Anthea enjoys leading an active lifestyle. She is a passionate sports fan, in particular the Geelong Cats AFL and WAFL teams. She enjoys attending live music events, horse riding, hiking, and going to the gym. Anthea also likes to spend time with her family and friends, and travelling to new places.
