Caitie graduated from Louisiana State University in 2020 with a Bachelor of Kinesiology and a minor in Psychology. In 2024, she obtained a Master’s in Physiotherapy from the University of Canberra.
With a strong sporting background in football, Caitie represented Australia at the U17 level and received a scholarship to compete as a student-athlete at Louisiana State University. These experiences provided her with significant exposure to high-performance sports environments, igniting her passion for physiotherapy and deepening her understanding of sports injury prevention and rehabilitation.
Since returning to Australia, Caitie has developed a keen interest in paediatric physiotherapy. Her experience as a Physiotherapy Assistant has reinforced her commitment to this field. Additionally, Caitie has worked in respite group care for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and currently serves as a support worker for children with complex needs.
Caitie recently travelled to the US to complete additional training in primitive reflex integration, exploring its role in development and behaviour throughout childhood and into adulthood. Her clinical interests include scoliosis management, ASD, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and the impact of motor development on behavioural outcomes.
Outside of her professional pursuits, Caitie maintains an active lifestyle through social football and snowboarding in the winter months, while enjoying time at the beach during the summer. A sports fan and an avid animal lover, Caitie will always remember the names of your pets.
