Nia joined the Southside Physio team in 2019 and has worked in private practice and aged care. Her special interests include Paediatric Physiotherapy, working with kids from babies through to teenagers, particularly managing developmental delays and concerns, musculoskeletal and sporting injuries, autism spectrum disorders, and sleep-disordered breathing. She is passionate about helping children and their families to reach their goals, master new skills, and encourage growth, learning, and play. Nia is an Orofacial Myofunctional Therapist who works closely with children and adults with sleep disordered breathing, tongue ties and improper development of the facial bones and airways. Nia is also a qualified in Pilates, Advanced Dry Needling techniques, and holds a FIFA Diploma of Football Medicine.
When Nia isn’t working, you can find her enjoying the outdoors with her family and enjoying the many wonderful hidden gems Canberra has to offer.
