Southside Physio is proud to offer Exercise Physiology services across both the Tuggeranong and Woden clinics, and through our Mobile service.
Our Exercise Physiologist offer 1-on-1 sessions, group-based exercise classes, pre-employment and return to work assessments, sport injury rehabilitation and support the management of a range of acute and chronic health conditions.
Our Exercise Physiologist design tailored exercise programs, which incorporate a researched based approach to health and physical activity, to prevent or mange chronic health conditions and injuries, helping to restore your optimal physical function and enhance quality of life. In addition, our Exercise Physiologists focus on supporting realistic lifestyle changes that can be seamlessly integrated into your daily routine to ensure long term results.
Exercise Physiologists specialize in developing tailored exercise solutions for a range of people and pathologies. Some pathologies include but are not limited to:
- Cardiovascular Health – Pacemakers, Hypertension, Chronic Heart Failure, Heart Arrhythmias and Acute Myocardial Infarction.
- Mental Health – Anxiety, Depression, Psychosocial Disorders and Trauma.
- Metabolic Health – Obesity / Weight management, Type 1 and 2 Diabetes and Thyroid dysfunction
- Musculoskeletal Concerns– Osteoarthritis, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Osteoporosis, and Muscle pain, injuries, or disabilities.
- Neurological/Neuromuscular Conditions – Stroke, Parkinson’s Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Dementia, and Traumatic Brain Injury, Intellectual disability.
