At the 2026 ACT Allied Health Excellence Awards, announced today on International Allied Health Professions Day, two Southside Physio clinicians were recognised by the ACT Government:
- Christopher Bacchus – Education Excellence
- Michael Irvine – Practice Excellence
This comes a year after Bjarne Kragh won the 2025 Practice Excellence award. That makes three ACT Allied Health Excellence Awards for our team in two years.

Every member of our physiotherapy team attends weekly training run by Chris Bacchus. Chris delivers world-class physiotherapy education, and that work has now been recognised with the ACT’s Education Excellence award. Michael’s Practice Excellence award recognises outstanding hands-on clinical care in Men’s Health Physiotherapy. That’s the standard we hold ourselves to every day in focussed clinical areas, and across the board in our musculoskeletal and rehabilitation patients.
